What is dana and how can charities and non-profit organisations benefit?

At the core of what we do, is to be able to give back to the world in whatever way we can - which we call 'Dāna '.  This is a Buddhist word, the ancient Sanskrit roughly translates to 'generosity'.

As a business we seek to practice Dāna as fully as we are able while maintaining a sustainable business.  This means that we find ways of giving to charitable causes in meaningful ways which help them to grow and thrive.

Sometimes this is through giving of our time and knowledge, other times we make financial donations and offer Dāna-based contracts to charitable causes.

We also actively support Open Source projects and communities both through contributing development, design and marketing resources and through volunteering our time to serve on leadership teams, committees and groups.

How can I request Dāna?

If you are a registered charity or non-profit oranisation, please reach out to us with an outline of what you need via our live chat or ticket system.  Please bear in mind that we are only able to take on a limited number of dana projects per year, so if your project is urgent it may not be something we are able to resource.
